US PAPER MONEY
As far as small sized US paper money notes is concerned, they were first introduced in July in the year 1929 and this also happened to coincide with a period of great financial stability in the design of US paper money. Till this time, most of the currency notes issued had been of large size and the designs too kept changing very often. However, following the issue of small size currency notes in the US, there were few and only minor changes made to the US currency notes and this lasted for more than sixty-five long years. It was only after such a long period that the Series 1996 hundred dollar paper notes changed this pattern.
Some of the more famous designs with regard to the paper money of USA were the “In God We Trust” notes issued between 1957 and 1963 and the addition of color as recently as 2004 which of course, was the last change after the 1996 redesign of paper notes of the USA.
